El Pinto - Albuquerque, NM

Boasting a lush, vibrant location in the north valley of Albuquerque, El Pinto stands out on the New Mexican food scene, offering memorably tasty traditional plates and top-notch margaritas. Currently owned by twins Jim and John Thomas, the restaurant has been around since 1962 and continues to serve their grandmother Josephina Chavez-Griggs' mouthwatering family recipes. The spicy home-style meal of chile-rubbed ribs, made with peppers roasted in-house is fall-off-the-bone tender and a favorite dish for locals and visitors alike.
