7-Layer Dip

This ultimate party dip is a game-day staple! Packed with layers of creamy, zesty, and cheesy goodness, every scoop delivers the perfect combination of flavors. With refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, olives, and green onions, this no-bake dip is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Just grab some tortilla chips and dig in! Try swapping sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter version.

Ingredients (for 8-10 servings):

  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa (chunky works best)
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning for extra flavor. Spread evenly in a serving dish or shallow bowl.
  2. Carefully layer guacamole over the beans, followed by sour cream, then salsa.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the salsa. Scatter black olives, diced tomatoes, and green onions evenly across the top.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 min. before serving for the best flavor. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips and watch it disappear!

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Water

 Filling:

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

 Method

  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, milk, and water in a pan, and mix until you form a dough.
  2. In a saucepan, heat a splash of olive oil and add the onion. Cook on medium-high until onion has softened.  
  3. Add the ground beef, and add the salt, water, and tomato sauce. When the meat has browned, remove from heat. 
  4. Dust a flat surface with flour, and roll out the dough into a flat sheet. 
  5. Use a ramekin or cup to cut out circles. 
  6. Add a dollop of beef-tomato mixture to the center of each circle. 
  7. Pinch the dough into a little pocket.
  8. Bake in the oven at 350° F for 15 minutes.
  9. Enjoy!
