7 steps to the perfect salad

Dry your salad with care

Salad that's wet and dripping isn't exactly delicious. Even with a great salad dressing, there's not much you can do to fix a badly dried salad. So be sure to dry your salad with care, and give it loads of attention. Once you're done rinsing it thoroughly, dry it using a colander or salad spinner. If you don't have either of these items, you can try tossing your salad in a Ziploc bag with a paper towel and giving it a good shake, or simply wrap it in a dish cloth and spin it around. It'll be perfectly dry in no time!
