French fries

Homemade French fries are a great side to go with that roast chicken you made for Sunday lunch! Kids love eating them with their fingers and dipping them in ketchup. You can make a healthier version using yams or sweet potatoes, and lightly pan fry them in oil if you don't have a deep fryer.
