Quiche
Quiche would be a great savory dish to serve on Father's Day. It's got tons of protein, and you can add any vegetables, meats or cheeses you think will please Pops most. Try this easy salmon, broccoli and goat cheese quiche for a healthier, sophisticated dish.
Heat oven to 350° F. Butter up several sheets of filo pastry and layer them in a greased circular baking dish. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes. Steam a chopped head of broccoli, and cut salmon fillets into 2-cm pieces. Place ingredients into the filo crust. Sprinkle chopped chives on top, and drop several teaspoons of soft goat cheese around the mixture. Mix together eggs, cream, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Pour on top of the salmon and broccoli. Bake for 50 minutes until the eggs are set, and the crust is golden brown.
