Deep dish pizza is a total man fave, and Dad will be so impressed at this DIY version you whipped up for him on his special day.
For the recipe, broil 1 cup of Dad's favorite mixed veggies and set aside. Preheat the oven to 450° F. Prep your round baking dish by brushing with olive oil and rub with a garlic clove for taste. Insert a store-bought pizza crust into the dish and make sure it's large enough to extend about an inch or so up the sides of the dish. Toss in 1/4 cup grated Mozzarella cheese, the broiled veggies and 1/2 cup pizza sauce. Add another 1/4 cup cheese and sprinkle with Italian seasonings. Top with grated Parmesan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling, and the crust is golden brown.
