Cook the tagliatelle to al dente. Meanwhile, fry chopped bacon and minced onions in a hot pan. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and transfer to a buttered baking dish. Add the bacon and onion mixture along with a can of peas. Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix well. Sprinkle some grated Gruyere cheese on top, and bake for 10 minutes at 375 °F, until lightly browned.
