Place the cob onto a piece of foil. Add 1/2 tablespoon butter. Sprinkle on salt and pepper. Add any other desired seasonings. Fold foil over the corn, and place in the slow cooker. Repeat with remaining corncobs. Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
