BBQ chicken wings
Once you've tried these sweet and tangy wings out of the slow cooker, you'll be hooked to the succulent taste.
Combine 2 cups BBQ sauce, 1 cup apricot preserves, 1 teaspoon ginger powder, 1 tablespoon garlic powder and 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl. Stir well to combine, and pour out 1/2 cup to be stored in the fridge until later.
Add 4 pounds chicken wings to your slow cooker, and pour in the sauce. Toss the wings to coat. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
If you want that slightly charred taste, go ahead and broil the cooked wings in the oven for 2 minutes. Brush with the reserved sauce, and broil for a few more minutes until the sauce is thick and slightly caramelized. Serve immediately.
