Tagine

Wash and rinse your vegetables (turnips, carrots, zucchini, onion, peppers and tomatoes). Peel and dice the turnips. Dice the carrots, zucchini, onions, peppers and tomatoes. Place the tagine dish over medium heat, with a bit of oil, then add the vegetables and cook. Add a finely chopped chili pepper and some cumin, then a can of drained chickpeas, salt and 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon water. Simmer for 20-25 minutes over low heat. Add diced feta, and allow it to melt a bit before serving.

  • Cheddar cheese
  • Mozarella
  • 1 baguette
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Bacon

METHOD

  1. Cut your cheeses into thin slices
  2. Slice baguette down the middle (like a sandwich)
  3. Layer cheddar, blue, and mozarella cheese inside the bread
  4. Top with sun-dried tomatoes
  5. Close baguette and wrap with bacon strips
  6. Put in oven and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees
  7. Slice and serve!
