East Coast Grill - Cambridge, MA

East Coast Grill has come back from the dead...literally. In January 2016, the 30-year old cult restaurant that became known for its "Hell Nights" (regular, reservations-only meal highlighting the restaurant's spiciest dishes) and for bringing innovative fare to the '80s New England food scene, closed its doors...only to be restored and re-opened by a former employee and her husband this year. There hasn't been any re-inauguration of "Hell Night," but you can still find some original spicy menu items, such as the "Hell-Style" smoked chicken wings and Yucatan-style grilled spice-crusted mahi-mahi. Plenty of other peppy options are available, including this spicy tuna poke, the smoked tofu Dan Dan noodles, coconut curry mussels, etc.
