BBQ sauce

BBQ sauce is the perfect condiment to serve with burgers, steaks, hot dogs or any type of grilled meat. It’s also great in a chicken or beef marinade and goes famously well on ribs.

To make homemade BBQ sauce, slice an onion and cook it in a bit of olive oil on low heat for about 30 minutes. Then add one clove of crushed garlic, a diced red bell pepper and an assortment of honey, tomato paste, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and red wine. Cook everything together for about 5 minutes while stirring regularly, let cool and serve!
