The fugu sashimi dish at Zuboraya in Osaka, Japan is one of its most famous dishes for one very lethal reason. Also known as blowfish or pufferfish, fugu contains deadly doses of the neurotoxin Tetrodotoxin. Upon ingestion, it can paralyze your entire body and then cause death by asphyxiation. It is however, entirely legal and has been served in Japan for centuries by properly trained chefs who employ safe serving methods. On the other hand, you probably won't want to try this one at home.
