Fruit salad

The best way to lighten up dessert is to go for fruit salad! Be bold with your combinations, and don't be afraid to use fresh and canned fruits together. Pour a can of pineapple chunks into a mixing bowl with the juice. Add 2 peeled and diced apples, 2 kiwis sliced into thin strips, and garnish with a few mint leaves. Store in the refrigerator. A more tropical option would be to mix pineapple chunks with diced mangoes and sliced bananas spiced up with a few drops of Tabasco.
