Fruits

Grilled fruits can add a delicious sweet dimension to your barbecue spread. Try making grilled fruit skewers with chopped pineapple, figs, melon and bananas. Place them on the grill for just a few minutes to get a nice caramelized texture.

This easy chocolate banana recipe is also a must-try: using a knife, slice a banana in half lengthwise (keep the skin). Stuff chocolate squares between the peel and the banana. Wrap the banana in aluminum foil, and place on the grill for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the heat level. Your chocolate banana should be divinely melty and tender when done.
