RED BANANA

Something as common and well-known as a banana can surprise us, especially when the peel shows up in a different color. They originated in the West Indies and Central America but are now mostly imported from East Africa, Asia, South America and the United Arab Emirates. Though the peels are red, the flesh resembles that of a regular yellow banana, similar in taste yet slightly sweeter and softer, with a taste of raspberries mixed in.
