Pizza Margherita

The Margherita pizza is the great joy of Italian cuisine. So where can you find a completely authentic version? In Naples, of course: home of the pizza by excellence. In order to judge how good a pizzeria is, Italians usually taste the Margherita, the simplest pizza on the menu. Can't make it to Naples anytime soon? Make the easy recipe yourself. With only tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil and basil leaves, you get to really explore the depth and flavor of each ingredient. Tips: The dough should be quite thick and soft. No mozzarella should be leaking out moisture, and the tomatoes should not taste acidic.
